มีอดีตได้... แต่อย่าจมอยู่กับมัน

บางคนเป็นคนที่ชอบจมอยู่กับอดีต เวลาเขียนอะไรออกมาก็จะแสดงออกได้ชัดมาก เช่น Did he went to school? ในเมื่อมี Did ซึ่งเป็นตัวบอกความเป็นอดีตกาลอยู่แล้วนั้น เราก็ไม่จำเป็นที่จะต้องใช้ went ซึ่งเป็นช่องสองของ go ซ้ำซ้อน

แต่บางคนเป็นหนักกว่า เพราะจมอยู่กับอดีตหลายตลบเหลือเกิน เช่น Did he wented to school? คนที่เขียนแบบนี่น่าเป็นห่วงมาก คนแรกแค่มีอดีตที่ซ้ำกันสองรอบก็ว่าหนักแล้ว คนหลังนี่หนักกว่าเพราะทุกอย่างอยู่กับอดีตหมดเลย

เราจงอย่าเป็นคนที่มีอดีตซ้ำซ้อนเลย.....

Getting away.....

There comes a time when we have so many things in our head to the point that we can no longer handle it no more. To help release the tension in our mind, there are many ways to feel better. Some people choose to listen to loud music. Some choose to paint a picture to let their feelings out. Some choose to just sleep so that they don't have to think about anything. For me, if I have time, I would drive to Cha-Um just so I can take a stroll on the beach and enjoy the moment. One thing that could be very helpful for you to release anger is to write whatever you have in mind on the sand and let it be washed away by the wave. Try it next time you go the beach !!!

If being in the world can't help, gazing at the stars is my other choice whether looking at the night sky with unaided eyes or through a telescope. Imagining myself traveling from one star to another and seeing extraordinary scenes of the universe are usually enough to get me relax. Did you know that what you perceive in the night sky is not what is happening at the moment? The starlight you see at night is not like what you see when you switch on the light in your room. What you see is, or shall I say, was the light emitting from the stars a very long long time ago.

รอ... แล้วได้อะไร

การที่เรารอใครบางคนหรืออะไรบางอย่างนั้น มันต่างจากการรอเพื่อจะทำอะไรสักอย่างยังไง???

สรุปแว่ มันก็ต่างกันตรงที่การเขียนนั่นแหละ แต่บอกได้รึเปล่าหละว่าต่างกันด้วยสาเหตุใด ถ้าเขียนอย่างหนึ่งจะหมายความว่ายังไง แล้วอีกอย่างจะหมายความว่ายังไง..... เข้าเรื่องเลยละกัน

    คำกริยา "รอ" (to wait) นั้นสามารถใช้ได้ในสองรูปแบบ คือ
1. รอใคร หรือ รออะไร = waiting for someone or waiting for something
    สังเกตนะครับว่าตามหลัง for ในรูปแบบนี้จะเป็นคำนามเสมอ "waiting for + noun" เช่น I'm
    waiting for students. She's waiting for the movie.
2. รอเพื่อจะทำอะไรบางอย่าง = waiting to do something
    ในรูปแบบนี้จะเห็นได้ว่าตามหลัง to จะเป็นคำกริยา (infinitive = to + v.1) เสมอ เช่น I'm waiting
    to meet the students. She's waiting to see the movie.

ว่าด้วยเรื่องของ "เคยทำ" และ "เคยชิน" (USED TO)

 คำว่า used to นั้นมีความหมายได้สองอย่าง
1) เคยทำ เช่น "I used to play games."
2) เคยชิน เช่น "I'm used to playing games."

Does anyone notice the difference between these two sentences?
มีใครสังเกตความแตกต่างของสองประโยคนี้ได้มั่งครับ?

นี่คือ การนับเลข 1-12 เป็นภาษาอังกฤษของใครหลายๆคน.....

เรามาลองแปลเป็นไทยกันนะครับ...

          หนึ่ง สอง ต้นไม้ สี่ ฟาย(ควาย) ป่วย เจ็ด ไข่ เก้า สิบ ช้าง สิบสอง

นี่คือสิ่งที่เราต้องการจะสื่อรึเปล่าเอ่ย??? ไหนลองอ่าน 888 เป็นภาษาอังกฤษสิครับ...

ส่วนมากก็จะอ่านกันว่า egg hundred and eggy egg  เอ้กฮันเดร้ด แอนด์ เอ้กอี้เอ้กเอ้ก..... เอิ่มมมมม กลายเป็นไก่กันไปหมดแล้วเหรอคร้าบบบบบบ !!!!

ฉะนั้น ตั้งแต่วันนี้เปนต้นไป เรามานับเลขกันให้ถูกเถอะ อย่าเป็นไก่กันเล้ยยย !!!!!
